MSC/Starlight Offers 50% Off Selected Cruises

Save 50% on your cruise holiday! MSC/Starlight is offering passengers a hefty saving of 50% off the cruise fare for two people sharing, on selected MSC Sinfonia cruises from Durban. The special offer is available on selected departure dates only, until April 2011.

Marrketing Director for MSC/Starlight, Allan Foggitt, explained the thinking behind the move: "During the peak holiday season of December and early January, many hundreds of passengers were disappointed to find that the cruise they would have liked to join was fully booked. We're saying to them that the ideal cruising season is far from over. The stereotypical 'December Holiday Cruise' can be just as enjoyable in March or April, and to incite people to change the way they look at the 'right' time to cruise, we're going to sell a limited number of cabins on certain cruises at half price. We believe this will open the eyes of cruise lovers to the joys of cruising when the big rush is over."

With this fantastic offer, a 3 night cruise from Durban can cost as little as R2 330 per person (plus port charges and insurance) and a 4 night cruise from only R2 700 (plus port charges and insurance). These great savings will remind many travellers of what it was like cruising 10 years ago!”

Kulula Launches Online Check-In Service

Tired of waiting in long check-in queues at the airport? Now you can check-in for your Kulula flight online and print your boarding pass at home or the office.

Online check-in allows you to check-in for your flight 24 hours prior and up to 2 hours before departure. You can choose your preferred seat and print out your boarding pass before leaving for the airport. Then at the airport, with your self-printed boarding pass in hand, you can simply drop off your luggage at the “fast bag drop off” airport counter - located near the check-in counters. If you don’t have any luggage you can proceed straight to security.
Please note that you can only check-in online if you are travelling within South Africa and if your flight number has 3 digits, example MN101. If your flight number has 4 digits you’ll have to check-in at the airport. Self-printed Kulula boarding passes are accepted at all South African airports, except for Durban, George and Nelspruit.
