Qatar’s hub, Hamad International Airport in Doha, only opened two years ago and already serves more than 28million passengers annually – set to grow up to 50million in 2018. The airport has also just been nominated the sixth airport in the world to achieve 5 star status. The prestigious 5 star airport rating is awarded to airports achieving the highest overall quality and is awarded by Skytrax, the London-based aviation institute.
